Jon 17:1 Having said all these things, Jesus then looked up into the sky and said, “Father, the time has come for you to honor the Son so the Son may in turn honor you.
Jon 17:2 Just as you gave him jurisdiction over everyone, so also he will give eternal life to all those you gave him.
Jon 17:3 This is eternal life: that they may know you, the one true God, and the one you commissioned, Jesus the Anointed.
Jon 17:4 I honored you on the earth, completing the tasks you gave me to do.
Jon 17:5 And now, Father, honor me along with yourself, with the honor I had along with you before the world was made.
Jon 17:6 “I revealed your name to the people you gave me from the world. They were yours and you gave them to me, and they have stayed true to your word.
Jon 17:7 Now they have understood that all you have given me is from you,
Jon 17:8 because I passed on to them the declarations you gave me. They accepted them and know for a fact that I came from you and was commissioned by you.
Jon 17:9 These are the ones I’m asking about. Now I’m not asking about the world, but about those you’ve given me, since they are yours;
Jon 17:10 after all, what’s mine is yours, and yours is mine. And I have been honored in them.
Jon 17:11 “I am not remaining in the world, but these people are, and I am returning to you. Holy Father, guard those who represent you, which you have given to me, so that they may be one just as we are.
Jon 17:12 When I was with them in the world I guarded those you gave me as your representatives. I watched over them and not one of them was lost except for the doomed one, in fulfillment of the scriptures.
Jon 17:13 Yet now I am returning to you, and I’m saying these things in the world so that they may be filled with my happiness.
Jon 17:14 “I have given them your word, and the world hated them because they are not of the world, just as I’m not of the world.
Jon 17:15 I’m not asking you to take them up out of the world, but that you would guard them from the evil one.
Jon 17:16 Again, they are not of the world, just as I’m not of the world.
Jon 17:17 “Consecrate them by your truth; your word is truth.
Jon 17:18 Just as you commissioned me into the world, so also I commissioned them into the world.
Jon 17:19 And for their sakes I consecrated myself, so that they too would be consecrated in truth.
Jon 17:20 “Yet I’m not only asking about these, but also about the ones who will put their trust in me through their word.
Jon 17:21 Then they may all be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you, and they too may be in us. Through this the world may believe that you commissioned me.
Jon 17:22 And I have given them the honor you gave me, so that they may be one just as we are—
Jon 17:23 I in them and you in me— that they may be a complete unity, and that the world may know that you commissioned me and loved them as you have loved me.
Jon 17:24 “Father, I would also prefer that those you have given me would be where I am, so they can see the honor you have given me, because you loved me before the world was established.
Jon 17:25 Also, Impartial Father, the world did not know you, but I did, and these know that you commissioned me.
Jon 17:26 I made your name known to them, and I will make it known that the love you loved me with may be in them, and I in them.”

Jon 17:1 ταυτα ελαλησεν ιησους και επαρας τους οφθαλμους αυτου εις τον ουρανον και ειπεν πατερ εληλυθεν ἡ ὡρα δοξασον σου τον υἱον ἱνα ὁ υἱος δοξαση σε
Jon 17:2 καθως εδωκας αυτω εξουσιαν πασης σαρκος ἱνα παν ὁ δεδωκας αυτω δωση αυτοις ζωην αιωνιον
Jon 17:3 αὑτη δε εστιν ἡ αιωνιος ζωη ἱνα γινωσκωσιν σε τον μονον αληθινον θεον και ὁν απεστειλας ιησουν χριστον
Jon 17:4 εγω σε εδοξασα επι της γης το εργον τελειωσας ὁ δεδωκας μοι ἱνα ποιησω
Jon 17:5 και νυν δοξασον με συ πατερ παρα σεαυτω τη δοξη ἡ ειχον προ του τον κοσμον ειναι παρα σοι
Jon 17:6 εφανερωσα σου το ονομα τοις ανθρωποις οὑς εδωκας μοι εκ του κοσμου σοι ησαν καμοι αυτους εδωκας και τον λογον σου τετηρηκαν
Jon 17:7 νυν εγνωκαν παντα δεδωκας μοι παρα σου εισιν
Jon 17:8 ὁτι τα ῥηματα ἁ εδωκας μοι δεδωκα αυτοις και αυτοι ελαβον και εγνωσαν αληθως ὁτι παρα σου εξηλθον και επιστευσαν ὁτι συ με απεστειλας
Jon 17:9 εγω περι αυτων ερωτω ου περι του κοσμου ερωτω αλλα περι ὡν δεδωκας μοι ὁτι σοι εισιν
Jon 17:10 και τα εμα παντα σα εστιν και τα σα εμα και δεδοξασμαι εν αυτοις
Jon 17:11 και ουκετι ειμι εν τω κοσμω και οὑτοι εν τω κοσμω εισιν καγω προς σε ερχομαι πατερ ἁγιε τηρησον αυτους εν τω ονοματι σου ὡ δεδωκας μοι ἱνα ωσιν ἑν καθως ἡμεις
Jon 17:12 ὁτε ημην μετ᾽ αυτων εγω ετηρουν αυτους εν τω ονοματι σου ὡ δεδωκας μοι και εφυλαξα και ουδεις εξ αυτων απωλετο ει. μη ὁ υἱος της απωλειας ἱνα ἡ γραφη πληρωθη
Jon 17:13 νυν δε προς σε ερχομαι και ταυτα λαλω εν τω κοσμω ἱνα εχωσιν την χαραν την εμην πεπληρωμενην εν ἑαυτοις
Jon 17:14 εγω δεδωκα αυτοις τον λογον σου και ὁ κοσμος εμισησεν αυτους ὁτι ουκ εισιν εκ του κοσμου καθως εγω ουκ ειμι εκ του κοσμου
Jon 17:15 ουκ ερωτω ἱνα αιρεις αυτους εκ του κοσμου αλλ᾽ ἱνα τηρησης αυτους εκ του πονηρου
Jon 17:16 εκ του κοσμου ουκ εισιν καθως εγω ουκ ειμι εκ του κοσμου
Jon 17:17 ἡγιασεν αυτους εν τη αληθεια ὁ λογος ὁ σος αληθεια εστιν
Jon 17:18 καθως εμε απεστειλας εις τον κοσμον καγω απεστειλα αυτους εις τον κοσμον
Jon 17:19 και ὑπερ αυτων εγω ἁγιαζων εμαυτον ἱνα ωσιν και αυτοι ἡγιασμενοι εν αληθεια
Jon 17:20 ου περι τουτων δε ερωτω μονον αλλα και περι των πιστευοντων δια του λογου αυτων εις εμε
Jon 17:21 ἱνα παντες ἑν ωσιν καθως συ πατερ εν εμοι καγω εν σοι ἱνα και αυτοι εν ἡμιν ωσιν ἱνα ὁ κοσμος πιστευη ὁτι συ με απεστειλας
Jon 17:22 καγω την δοξαν ην δεδωκας μοι δεδωκα αυτοις ἱνα ωσιν ἑν καθως ἡμεις ἑν
Jon 17:23 εγω εν αυτοις και συ εν εμοι ἱνα ωσιν τετελειωμενοι εἱς εν ἱνα γινωσκη ὁ κοσμος ὁτι συ με απεστειλας και ηγαπησας αυτους καθως εμε ηγαπησας
Jon 17:24 πατερ ὁ δεδωκας μοι θελω ἱνα ὁπου ειμι εγω κακεινοι ωσιν μετ᾽ εμου ἱνα θεωρωσιν την δοξαν την εμην ην δεδωκας μοι ὁτι ηγαπησας με προ καταβολης κοσμου
Jon 17:25 πατερ δικαιε και ὁ κοσμος σε ουκ εγνω εγω δε σε εγνων και οὑτοι εγνωσαν ὁτι συ με απεστειλας
Jon 17:26 και εγνωρισα αυτοις το ονομα σου και εγνωρισα ἱνα ἡ αγαπη ἡν ηγαπησας με εν αυτοις η. καγω εν αυτοις
