Jon 14:1 “Don’t let disturbing thoughts fill your minds; trust in God, and trust in me.
Jon 14:2 There are many residences in my Father’s home. If there weren’t, I would not have told you that I’m going there to prepare a place for you.
Jon 14:3 So if I go and prepare a place, then I will return to you and accept you as my own, so that you can be where I am.
Jon 14:4 And you are familiar with the way to where I’m going.”
Jon 14:5 Thomas says to him, “Master, we aren’t familiar with where you’re going, so how can we see the way?”
Jon 14:6 “I am the way,” said Jesus, “and the truth and the life; no one can come to the Father except through me.
Jon 14:7 If all of you have known me you will also know my Father. And from now on you know him and have seen him.”
Jon 14:8 Philip says to him, “Master, show us the Father and we will be satisfied.”
Jon 14:9 Jesus replied, “Philip, I’ve been with you all this time, and you still don’t know me! Whoever has seem me has seen the Father, so how can you say, ’show us the Father’?
Jon 14:10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and he is in me? The declarations I have been giving you are not of my own accord; rather, the Father who remains in me does his work.
Jon 14:11 “Trust me when I tell you that I am in the Father and he is in me. But if that isn’t enough, then believe me because of what I do.
Jon 14:12 I tell you very truly, that those who put their trust in me will do the same things I do— and even greater things, because I am going to the Father.
Jon 14:13 And whatever you ask as my representative, I will do it, so that the Father is honored in the Son.
Jon 14:14 Yes, anything you ever ask as my representative, I will do.
Jon 14:15 “If you love me, guard my precepts.
Jon 14:16 And I will implore the Father, who will give you another advocate to console you and be with you forever:
Jon 14:17 the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot accept, whom it can neither see nor know. But you all know this Spirit, for it remains with you and will be in you.
Jon 14:18 I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you.
Jon 14:19 “Soon the world will no longer see me, but you see me. And since I live, you also will live.
Jon 14:20 In that day you will know that I am in my Father, you are in me, and I am in you.
Jon 14:21 Whoever has my precepts and observes them is the one who loves me, and the one who loves me will be loved by my Father; I will love that one and reveal myself to them.”
Jon 14:22 Judas (not the one from Kerioth) says to him, “Master, why is it that you intend to reveal yourself to us but not to the world?”
Jon 14:23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will guard my sayings, and my Father will love them; we will come to them and take up residence with them.
Jon 14:24 But anyone who does not love me doesn’t guard my sayings. This saying you are hearing is not my own but is from the Father who sends me.
Jon 14:25 “I have spoken all this to you while remaining with you.
Jon 14:26 But now the Advocate, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send on my behalf, will teach you everything and remind you of everything I said to you.
Jon 14:27 “My peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you, and I don’t give as the world does. Don’t let your minds be disturbed or timid.
Jon 14:28 You heard me say ’I am going away and coming back‘, and ’If you loved me you would be happy I’m going to the Father, for he is greater than I.
Jon 14:29 And now I have declared this ahead of time, so that when it does happen, you will believe.
Jon 14:30 “I will not be speaking with you much longer, because the ruler of the world approaches, and he has nothing to do with me.
Jon 14:31 But I do as the Father directs me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Get up! We have to leave.

Jon 14:1 μη ταρασσεσθω ὑμων ἡ καρδια πιστευετε εις τον θεον και εις εμε πιστευετε
Jon 14:2 εν τη οικια του πατρος μου μοναι πολλαι εισιν ει. δε μη ειπον αν ὑμιν ὁτι πορευομαι ἑτοιμασαι τοπον ὑμιν
Jon 14:3 και εαν πορευθω και ἑτοιμασω τοπον ὑμιν παλιν ερχομαι και παραληψομαι ὑμας προς εμαυτον ἱνα ὁπου ειμι εγω και ὑμεις ητε
Jon 14:4 και ὁπου εγω ὑπαγω οιδατε την ὁδον
Jon 14:5 λεγειν αυτω θωμας κυριε ουκ οιδαμεν που ὑπαγεις πως δυναμεθα την ὁδον ειδεναι
Jon 14:6 λεγειν αυτω ὁ ιησους εγω ειμι ἡ ὁδος και ἡ αληθεια και ἡ ζωη ουδεις ερχεται προς τον πατερα ει. μη δι᾽ εμου
Jon 14:7 ει. εγνωκατε με και τον πατερα μου γνωσεσθε και απ᾽ αρτι γινωσκετε αυτον και ἑωρακατε αυτον
Jon 14:8 λεγειν αυτω φιλιππος κυριε δειξον ἡμιν τον πατερα και αρκει ἡμιν
Jon 14:9 λεγειν αυτω ὁ ιησους τοσουτον χρονω μεθ᾽ ὑμων ειμι και ουκ εγνωκας με φιλιππιε ὁ ἑωρακως εμε ἑωρακεν τον πατερα πως συ λεγεις δειξον ἡμιν τον πατερα
Jon 14:10 ου πιστευεις ὁτι εγω εν τω πατρι και ὁ πατηρ εν εμοι εστιν τα ῥηματα ἁ εγω λεγω ὑμιν απ᾽ εμαυτου ου λαλω ὁ δε πατηρ εν εμοι μενων ποιει τα εργα αυτου
Jon 14:11 πιστευετε μοι ὁτι εγω εν τω πατρι και ὁ πατηρ εν εμοι ει δε μη δια τα εργα αυτα πιστευετε
Jon 14:12 αμην αμην λεγω ὑμιν ὁ πιστευων εις εμε τα εργα ἁ εγω ποιω κακεινος ποιησει και μειζονα τουτων ποιησει ὁτι εγω προς τον πατερα πορευομαι
Jon 14:13 και ὁ τι αν αιτησητε εν τω ονοματι μου τουτο ποιησω ἱνα δοξασθη ὁ πατηρ εν τω υἱω
Jon 14:14 εαν τι αιτησητε με εν τω ονοματι μου εγω ποιησω
Jon 14:15 εαν αγαπατε με τας εντολας τας εμας τηρησετε
Jon 14:16 καγω ερωτησω τον πατερα και αλλον παρακλητον δωσει ὑμιν ἱνα ὑμων εις τον αιωνα η.
Jon 14:17 το πνευμα της αληθειας ὁ ὁ κοσμος ου δυναται λαβειν ὁτι ου θεωρει αυτο ουδε γινωσκει ὑμεις γινωσκετε αυτο ὁτι παρ᾽ ὑμιν μενει και εν ὑμιν εσται
Jon 14:18 ουκ αφησω ὑμας ορφανους ερχομαι προς ὑμας
Jon 14:19 ετι μικρον και ὁ κοσμος με ουκετι θεωρει ὑμεις δε θεωρειτε με ὁτι εγω ζω και ὑμεις ζησετε
Jon 14:20 εν εκεινη τη ἡμερα γνωσεσθε ὑμεις ὁτι εγω εν τω πατρι μου και ὑμεις εν εμοι καγω εν ὑμιν
Jon 14:21 ὁ εχων τας εντολας μου και τηρων αυτας εκεινος εστιν ὁ αγαπαω με ὁ δε αγαπαω με αγαπηθησεται ὑπο του πατρος μου καγω αγαπησω αυτον και εμφανισω αυτω εμαυτον
Jon 14:22 λεγειν αυτω ιουδας ουχ ὁ ισκαριωτης κυριε και τι γεγονεν ὁτι ἡμιν μελλεις εμφανιζειν σεαυτον και ουχι τω κοσμω
Jon 14:23 απεκριθη ιησους και ειπεν αυτω εαν τις αγαπα με τον λογον μου τηρησει και ὁ πατηρ μου αγαπησει αυτον και προς αυτον ελευσομεθα και μονην παρ᾽ αυτω ποιησομεθα
Jon 14:24 ὁ μη αγαπαω με τους λογους μου ου τηρει και ὁ λογος ὁν ακουοντι ουκ εστιν εμος αλλα του πεμψαντος με πατρος
Jon 14:25 ταυτα λελαληκα ὑμιν παρ᾽ ὑμιν μενων
Jon 14:26 ὁ δε παρακλητος το πνευμα το ἁγιον ὁ πεμψει ὁ πατηρ εν τω ονοματι μου εκεινος ὑμας διδαξει παντα και ὑπομνησει ὑμας παντα ἁ ειπον ὑμιν
Jon 14:27 ειρηνην αφιημι ὑμιν ειρηνην την εμην διδωμι ὑμιν ου καθως ὁ κοσμος διδωσιν εγω διδωμι ὑμιν μη ταρασσεσθω ὑμων ἡ καρδια μηδε δειλιατω
Jon 14:28 ηκουσατε ὁτι εγω ειπον ὑμιν ὑπαγω και ερχομαι προς ὑμας ει ηγαπατε με εχαρητε αν ὁτι πορευομαι προς τον πατερα ὁτι ὁ πατηρ μου μειζων μου εστιν
Jon 14:29 και νυν ειρηκα ὑμιν πριν γενεσθαι ἱνα ὁταν γενηται πιστευσητε
Jon 14:30 ουκετι πολλα λαλησω ὑμων ερχεται γαρ ὁ του κοσμου αρχων και εν εμοι ουκ εχει ουδεν
Jon 14:31 αλλ᾽ ἱνα γνω ὁ κοσμος ὁτι αγαπω τον πατερα και καθως ενετειλατο μοι ὁ πατηρ οὑτως ποιω εγειρεσθε αγωμεν εντευθεν
