Jon 15:1 “I am the true vine and my Father is the cultivator.
Jon 15:2 He discards every branch that produces no fruit, but prunes the ones that produce some, so they can make even more.
Jon 15:3 You all are pruned already by means of the things I’ve said to you.
Jon 15:4 Remain in me as I remain in you. Just as the branch cannot produce fruit if it is detached from the vine, neither can you if you do not remain in me.
Jon 15:5 “I am the vine and you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in them produces a lot of fruit, but apart from me you can do nothing.
Jon 15:6 Whoever does not remain in me is like a branch that is thrown out and dried up. Such branches are then collected and thrown into the fire to be burned.
Jon 15:7 But if you always remain in me and my declarations remain in you, ask for anything you want and it will be granted to you.
Jon 15:8 “If you produce a lot of fruit and become my disciples, it brings honor to my Father.
Jon 15:9 Just as the Father loves me, so also do I love you; remain in my love.
Jon 15:10 If you guard my precepts you will remain in my love, just as I have guarded my Father’s precepts and remain in his love.
Jon 15:11 I have spoken these things to you so that my happiness will remain in you and fill you up.
Jon 15:12 “This is my precept: that you love each other as I have loved you.
Jon 15:13 And there is no greater love than to lay down your life for your friends.
Jon 15:14 You are my friends if you do what I direct you to do.
Jon 15:15 I no longer call you slaves, for a slave is not included in their master’s activities. But now I call you friends, for I have shared with you everything I heard from my Father.
Jon 15:16 You didn’t choose me, I chose you, and I appointed you to go out and produce a lot of fruit. If your fruit endures, ask the Father for anything you want as my representatives and he will grant it.
Jon 15:17 I am giving you these directions so that you may love each other.
Jon 15:18 “If the world hates you, understand that it hated me first.
Jon 15:19 If you had belonged to the world it would have considered you its friends. But seeing that you are no longer part of the world since I chose you out of it, the world despises you for this.
Jon 15:20 Remember what I told you? ‘A slave is not greater than their master.’ If they persecuted me they will also persecute you, but if they guarded my sayings, they will guard yours too.
Jon 15:21 They will do all these things to you because of my name, since they have failed to recognize the one sending me.
Jon 15:22 “If I had not come and spoken to them they would not be at fault, but now they have no excuse;
Jon 15:23 whoever despises me despises my Father as well.
Jon 15:24 If I hadn’t done things among them that no one else had done, they would not be at fault. But now they have seen, and they have despised both me and my Father.
Jon 15:25 Yet this fulfills what has been written in the law about them: ‘They hated me for no reason’.
Jon 15:26 “When the Advocate I’m sending from the Father arrives— the Spirit of Truth departing from him— he will testify about me.
Jon 15:27 And you will testify as well, seeing that you have been with me from the beginning.

Jon 15:1 εγω ειμι ἡ αμπελος ἡ αληθινη και ὁ πατηρ μου ὁ γεωργος εστιν
Jon 15:2 παν κλημα εν εμοι μη φερον καρπον αιρει αυτο και παν το καρπον φερον καθαιρει αυτο ἱνα καρπον πλειονα φερη
Jon 15:3 ηδη ὑμεις καθαροι εστε δια τον λογον ὁν λελαληκα ὑμιν
Jon 15:4 μεινατε εν εμοι καγω εν ὑμιν καθως το κλημα ου δυναται καρπον φερειν αφ᾽ ἑαυτου εαν μη μεινη εν τη αμπελω οὑτως ουδε ὑμεις εαν μη εν εμοι μεινητε
Jon 15:5 εγω ειμι ἡ αμπελος ὑμεις τα κληματα ὁ μενων εν εμοι καγω εν αυτω οὑτος φερει καρπον πολυν ὁτι χωρις εμου ου δυνασθε ποιειν ουδεν
Jon 15:6 εαν μη τις μενη εν εμοι εβληθη εξω ὡς το κλημα και εξηρανθη και συναγουσιν αυτα και εις το πυρ βαλλουσιν και καιεται
Jon 15:7 εαν μεινητε εν εμοι και τα ῥηματα μου εν ὑμιν μεινη ὁ εαν θελητε αιτησασθε και γενησεται ὑμιν
Jon 15:8 εν τουτω εδοξασθη ὁ πατηρ μου ἱνα καρπον πολυν φερητε και γενησθε εμοι μαθηται
Jon 15:9 καθως ηγαπησεν με ὁ πατηρ καγω ὑμας ηγαπησα μεινατε εν τη αγαπη τη εμη
Jon 15:10 εαν τας εντολας μου τηρησετε μενειτε εν τη αγαπη μου καθως εγω τας εντολας του πατρος μου τετηρηκα και μενω αυτου εν τη αγαπη
Jon 15:11 ταυτα λελαληκα ὑμιν ἱνα ἡ χαρα ἡ εμη εν ὑμιν η. και ἡ χαρα ὑμων πληρωθη
Jon 15:12 αὑτη εστιν ἡ εντολη ἡ εμη ἱνα αγαπατε αλληλους καθως ηγαπησα ὑμας
Jon 15:13 μειζονα ταυτης αγαπην ουδεις εχει ἱνα τις την ψυχην αυτου θη ὑπερ των φιλων αυτου
Jon 15:14 ὑμεις φιλοι μου εστε εαν ποιητε ἁ εγω εντελλομαι ὑμιν
Jon 15:15 ουκετι λεγω ὑμας δουλους ὁτι ὁ δουλος ουκ οιδεν τι ποιει αυτου ὁ κυριος ὑμας δε ειρηκα φιλους ὁτι παντα ἁ ηκουσα παρα του πατρος μου εγνωρισα ὑμιν
Jon 15:16 ουχ ὑμεις με εξελεξασθε αλλ᾽ εγω εξελεξαμην ὑμας και εθηκα ὑμας ἱνα ὑμεις ὑπαγητε και καρπον φερητε και ὁ καρπος ὑμων μενη ἱνα ὁ τι αν αιτησητε τον πατερα εν τω ονοματι μου δω ὑμιν
Jon 15:17 ταυτα εντελλομαι ὑμιν ἱνα αγαπατε αλληλους
Jon 15:18 ει. ὁ κοσμος ὑμας μισει γινωσκετε ὁτι εμε πρωτον ὑμων μεμισηκεν
Jon 15:19 ει. εκ του κοσμου ητε ὁ κοσμος αν το ιδιον εφιλει ὁτι δε εκ του κοσμου ουκ εστε αλλ᾽ εγω εξελεξαμην ὑμας εκ του κοσμου δια τουτο μισει ὑμας ὁ κοσμος
Jon 15:20 μνημονευετε του λογου οὑ εγω ειπον ὑμιν ουκ εστιν δουλος μειζων του κυριου αυτου ει εμε εδιωξαν και ὑμας διωξουσιν ει. τον λογον μου ετηρησαν και τον ὑμετερον τηρησουσιν
Jon 15:21 αλλα ταυτα παντα ποιησουσιν εις ὑμας δια το ονομα μου ὁτι ουκ οιδασιν τον πεμψαντα με
Jon 15:22 ει. μη ηλθον και ελαλησα αυτοις ἁμαρτιαν ουκ ειχοσαν νυν δε προφασιν ουκ εχουσιν περι της ἁμαρτιας αυτων
Jon 15:23 ὁ εμε μισων και τον πατερα μου μισει
Jon 15:24 ει. τα εργα μη εποιησα εν αυτοις ἁ ουδεις αλλος εποιησεν ἁμαρτιαν ουκ ειχοσαν νυν δε και ἑωρακασιν και μεμισηκασιν και εμε και τον πατερα μου
Jon 15:25 αλλ᾽ ἱνα πληρωθη ὁ λογος ὁ εν τω νομω αυτων γεγραμμενος ὁτι εμισησαν με δωρεαν
Jon 15:26 ὁταν ελθη ὁ παρακλητος ὁν εγω πεμψω ὑμιν παρα του πατρος το πνευμα της αληθειας ὁ παρα του πατρος εκπορευεται εκεινος μαρτυρησει περι εμου
Jon 15:27 και ὑμεις δε μαρτυρειτε ὁτι απ᾽ αρχης μετ᾽ εμου εστε
