Hebrews 4
Heb 4:1 So then, beware that while the promise of entering his rest is left open you are not left out,
Heb 4:2 because we too have been brought the Gospel. But hearing the word did them no good because it was not combined with faith.
Heb 4:3 We who believe are the ones who enter into the rest, in accordance with what he has declared (“As I swore in my indignation, They will never enter my rest!”), although the work was done since the foundation of the world.
Heb 4:4 For he has declared somewhere about the seventh day: “And God stopped from all his work on the seventh day,”
Heb 4:5 and again, “They will never enter my rest!.”
Heb 4:6 So then, some remain to enter into it, but those who were formerly brought the Gospel did not enter because of disbelief.
Heb 4:7 So God designated another day called Today. After a long time he said as before, through David, “If you hear his voice today, do not harden your hearts.”
Heb 4:8 For if Joshua gave them rest he would not have spoken about another Day.
Heb 4:9 Consequently, a Sabbath still remains for the people of God.
Heb 4:10 Whoever entered into his rest also stopped working, just as God stopped working.
Heb 4:11 So we should try to enter into that rest so that nobody falls into that same type of disbelief.
Heb 4:12 For the Word of God is alive and effective, and sharper than any double-edged sword. It penetrates to the point of dividing soul from spirit, joints from marrow, and judges the heart’s inner feelings and thoughts.
Heb 4:13 And there is no creature that can hide from him; everything is completely exposed to the eyes of him who gave us the Word.
Heb 4:14 So then, since we have a great Ruling Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the God-Man, we must hold tightly to our commitment.
Heb 4:15 For we do not have a Ruling Priest who can’t sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way yet without failing.
Heb 4:16 Because of that, we can boldly approach the throne of favor, so we may receive mercy and find favor for help at just the right time.

Heb 4:1 φοβηθωμεν ουν μηποτε καταλειπομενης επαγγελιαν εισελθειν εις την καταπαυσιν αυτου δοκη τις εξ ὑμων ὑστερηκεναι
Heb 4:2 και γαρ εσμεν ευηγγελισμενοι καθαπερ κακεινοι αλλ᾽ ουκ ωφελησεν ὁ λογος της ακοης εκεινους μη συγκεκραμενους τη πιστει τοις ακουσασιν
Heb 4:3 εισερχομεθα γαρ εις την καταπαυσιν οἱ πιστευσαντες καθως ειρηκεν ὡς ωμοσα εν τη οργη μου ει. εισελευσονται εις την καταπαυσιν μου καιτοι των εργων απο καταβολης κοσμου γενηθεντων
Heb 4:4 ειρηκεν γαρ που περι της ἑβδομης οὑτως και κατεπαυσεν ὁ θεος εν τη ἡμερα τη ἑβδομη απο παντων των εργων αυτου
Heb 4:5 και εν τουτω παλιν ει. εισελευσονται εις την καταπαυσιν μου
Heb 4:6 επει ουν απολειπεται τινας εισελθειν εις αυτην και οἱ προτερον ευαγγελισθεντες ουκ εισηλθον δι᾽ απειθειαν
Heb 4:7 παλιν τινα ὁριζει ἡμεραν σημερον εν δαυιδ λεγων μετα τοσουτον χρονον καθως ειρηται σημερον εαν της φωνης αυτου ακουσητε μη σκληρυνητε τας καρδιας ὑμων
Heb 4:8 ει. γαρ αυτους ιησους κατεπαυσεν ουκ αν περι αλλης ελαλει μετα ταυτα ἡμερας
Heb 4:9 αρα απολειπεται σαββατισμος τω λαω του θεου
Heb 4:10 ὁ γαρ εισελθων εις την καταπαυσιν αυτου και αυτος κατεπαυσεν απο των εργων αυτου ὡσπερ απο των ιδιων ὁ θεος
Heb 4:11 σπουδασωμεν ουν εισελθειν εις εκεινην την καταπαυσιν ἱνα μη εν τω αυτω τις ὑποδειγματι πεση της απειθειας
Heb 4:12 ζων γαρ ὁ λογος του θεου και ενεργης και τομωτερος ὑπερ πασαν μαχαιραν διστομον και διικνουμενος αχρι μερισμου ψυχης και πνευματος ἁρμων τε και μυελων και κριτικος ενθυμησεων και εννοιων καρδιας
Heb 4:13 και ουκ εστιν κτισις αφανης ενωπιον αυτου παντα δε γυμνα και τετραχηλισμενα τοις οφθαλμοις αυτου προς ὁν ἡμιν ὁ λογος
Heb 4:14 εχοντες ουν αρχιερεα μεγαν διεληλυθοτα τους ουρανους ιησουν τον υἱον του θεου κρατωμεν της ὁμολογιας
Heb 4:15 ου γαρ εχομεν αρχιερεα μη δυναμενον συμπαθησαι ταις ασθενειαις ἡμων πεπειρασμενον δε κατα παντα καθ᾽ ὁμοιοτητα χωρις ἁμαρτιας
Heb 4:16 προσερχωμεθα ουν μετα παρρησιας τω θρονω της χαριτος ἱνα λαβωμεν ελεον και χαριν εὑρωμεν εις ευκαιρον βοηθειαν
