Mat 28:1 After the Sabbaths, when it was nearing dawn on the First of Sabbaths, Mary of Magdala and the other Mary went to see the grave.
Mat 28:2 Suddenly there was a tremendous earthquake because the Messenger of the Master came down from heaven, and he rolled away the stone and then sat on it.
Mat 28:3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow.
Mat 28:4 The guards shook with fear and passed out.
Mat 28:5 Then the Messenger said to the women, “Don’t be afraid! I know that you’re looking for Jesus, who was crucified.
Mat 28:6 But he isn’t here; he arose, just as he said he would! Come and see the spot where his body was placed,
Mat 28:7 then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead. In fact, he is going on ahead to Galilee, so you will see him there. You have your assignment!”
Mat 28:8 So off they went from the tomb in a hurry, filled with great joy. They ran to announce this to his disciples,
Mat 28:9 when suddenly there was Jesus! “Greetings!” he said. They went over to him and worshiped while holding on to his feet.
Mat 28:10 Then he said to them, “Don’t be afraid! Go and tell my brothers and sisters to leave for Galilee; I will meet them there.”
Mat 28:11 While they were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and told the ruling priests every detail of what had happened.
Mat 28:12 So they called a meeting with the elders, and they gave a sum of money to the soldiers
Mat 28:13 and told them, “You are to say that his disciples came during the night and stole the body while you were sleeping.
Mat 28:14 And if word of this reaches the governor, don’t worry; we will keep you out of trouble.”
Mat 28:15 So the soldiers took the payoff and did as they were told. This story was spread around throughout Judea and continues to this day.
Mat 28:16 Now the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.
Mat 28:17 When they saw him they worshiped him, though some were skeptical.
Mat 28:18 Then Jesus said to them, “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me.
Mat 28:19 So go then, make disciples throughout the nations. Immerse them by the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
Mat 28:20 and teach them to hold tightly to everything I’ve commanded you. Rest assured I will be with you always, until the very end of the age.”

Mat 28:1 οψε δε σαββατων τη επιφωσκουση εις μιαν σαββατων ηλθεν μαριαμ ἡ μαγδαληνη και ἡ αλλη μαρια θεωρησαι τον ταφον
Mat 28:2 και ιδου σεισμος εγενετο μεγας αγγελος γαρ κυριου καταβας εξ ουρανου και προσελθων απεκυλισεν τον λιθον και εκαθητο επανω αυτου
Mat 28:3 ην δε ἡ ειδεα αυτου ὡς αστραπη και το ενδυμα αυτου λευκον ὡς χιων
Mat 28:4 απο δε του φοβου. αυτου εσεισθησαν οἱ τηρουντες και εγενηθησαν ὡς νεκροι
Mat 28:5 αποκριθεις δε ὁ αγγελος ειπεν ταις γυναιξιν μη φοβεισθε ὑμεις οιδα γαρ ὁτι ιησουν τον εσταυρωμενον ζητειτε
Mat 28:6 ουκ εστιν ὡδε ηγερθη γαρ καθως ειπεν δευτε ιδετε τον τοπον ὁπου εκειτο
Mat 28:7 και ταχυ πορευθεισαι ειπατε τοις μαθηταις αυτου ὁτι ηγερθη απο των νεκρων και ιδου προαγει ὑμας εις την γαλιλαιαν εκει αυτον οψεσθε ιδου ειπον ὑμιν
Mat 28:8 και απελθουσαι ταχυ απο του μνημειου μετα φοβου. και χαρας μεγαλης εδραμον απαγγειλαι τοις μαθηταις αυτου
Mat 28:9 και ιδου ιησους ὑπηντησεν αυταις λεγων χαιρετε αἱ δε προσελθουσαι εκρατησαν αυτου τους ποδας και προσεκυνησαν αυτω
Mat 28:10 τοτε λεγει αυταις ὁ ιησους μη φοβεισθε ὑπαγετε απαγγειλατε τοις αδελφοις μου ἱνα απελθωσιν εις την γαλιλαιαν κακει με οψονται
Mat 28:11 πορευομενων δε αυτων ιδου τινες της κουστωδιας ελθοντες εις την πολιν απηγγειλαν τοις αρχιερευσιν ἁπαντα τα γενομενα
Mat 28:12 και συναχθεντες μετα των πρεσβυτερων συμβουλιον τε λαβοντες αργυρια ἱκανα εδωκαν τοις στρατιωταις
Mat 28:13 λεγοντες ειπατε ὁτι οἱ μαθηται αυτου νυκτος ελθοντες εκλεψαν αυτον ἡμων κοιμωμενων
Mat 28:14 και εαν ακουσθη τουτο επι του ἡγεμονος ἡμεις πεισομεν αυτον και ὑμας αμεριμνους ποιησομεν
Mat 28:15 οἱ δε λαβοντες τα αργυρια εποιησαν ὡς εδιδαχθησαν και διεφημισθη ὁ λογος οὑτος παρα ιουδαιοις μεχρι της σημερον ἡμερας
Mat 28:16 οἱ δε ἑνδεκα μαθηται επορευθησαν εις την γαλιλαιαν εις το ορος οὑ εταξατο αυτοις ὁ ιησους
Mat 28:17 και ιδοντες αυτον προσεκυνησαν οἱ δε εδιστασαν
Mat 28:18 και προσελθων ὁ ιησους ελαλησεν αυτοις λεγων εδοθη μοι πασα εξουσια εν ουρανω και επι της γης
Mat 28:19 πορευθεντες ουν μαθητευσατε παντα τα εθνη βαπτιζοντες αυτους εις το ονομα του πατρος και του υἱου και του ἁγιου πνευματος
Mat 28:20 διδασκοντες αυτους τηρειν παντα ὁσα ενετειλαμην ὑμιν και ιδου εγω μεθ᾽ ὑμων ειμι πασας τας ἡμερας ἑως της συντελειας του αιωνος
