Gal 3:1 You senseless Galatians! Who has cast a spell on you with the “evil eye”? Right before your eyes Jesus the Anointed was openly presented as crucified,
Gal 3:2 so I’d like to learn just one thing from you: Was it by your legal performance that you received the Spirit, or by believing what you heard?
Gal 3:3 Are you really so senseless as to think you would start with the Spirit and finish with the flesh?
Gal 3:4 Was all your suffering really for nothing?
Gal 3:5 Did the One who supplied you with the Spirit do powerful works among you because you followed the Law, or because you believed what you heard?
Gal 3:6 Just as Abraham believed God and was thereby declared righteous,
Gal 3:7 it follows that those with faith are of Abraham.
Gal 3:8 So the scripture, looking ahead to the time when God would justify the nations by means of faith, brought Abraham the good news: “All the nations will be blessed because of you.”
Gal 3:9 So then, those with faith are blessed together with faithful Abraham.
Gal 3:10 Those who rely on their legalistic performance are cursed, for it is written: “Cursed is anyone who does not perfectly observe everything written in the scroll of the Law.”
Gal 3:11 Now it is obvious that no one is justified before God solely on the basis of the Law, because “the just will live by faith.”
Gal 3:12 The Law is not about faith but instead, “the one who does them will live in them.”
Gal 3:13 So the Anointed ransomed us from the curse of the Law by becoming that curse for our sakes, because it has been written, “Cursed is anyone who is hung on wood.”
Gal 3:14 That is how the blessing of Abraham could come to the nations in Anointed Jesus, so that we may obtain the promise of the Spirit by means of faith.
Gal 3:15 Now let me put this in down-to-earth terms, brothers and sisters. Once a person’s Last Will and Testament has been properly signed and notarized, no one can modify it or declare it annulled.
Gal 3:16 Now the promises were declared to Abraham and his Descendant (note that it is singular— Descendant— and not “to your descendants”), who is the Anointed.
Gal 3:17 What I’m saying is that this legal will, ratified by God, was not invalidated by the Law that came four hundred and thirty years later.
Gal 3:18 For if the inheritance could come by a law then it would no longer come by a promise. Yet God graciously granted it to Abraham through promise.
Gal 3:19 So then, what purpose did the Law serve? It was added to deal with our having crossed the line until the promised Descendant could come. And it was established in the presence of Messengers through the agency of a mediator.
Gal 3:20 In contrast, you can’t mediate between one— and God is One.
Gal 3:21 So then, does the Law conflict with the promises of God? Absolutely not! If the Law could bring life, then righteousness could actually come from the Law.
Gal 3:22 But the scripture used Failure to contain everything, so that the promise may be given from the faith of Jesus the Anointed to those who believe.
Gal 3:23 Now before the arrival of faith we were bound under the Law until the faith was revealed.
Gal 3:24 So you could say that the Law served as our guide, to lead us to the Anointed so we could be justified by faith.
Gal 3:25 And when we arrived at faith, we had no further need of a guide.
Gal 3:26 Now you are all children of God through faith in Anointed Jesus,
Gal 3:27 because whoever is immersed into union with the Anointed has clothed themselves with him.
Gal 3:28 And since you are all united as one with Anointed Jesus, there is no more division between Judean and Greek, slave and free, or even male and female.
Gal 3:29 And if you are his, then it follows that you are descendants of Abraham and thus heirs of the promise.

Gal 3:1 ω. ανοητοι γαλαται τις ὑμας εβασκανεν οἱς κατ᾽ οφθαλμους ιησους χριστος προεγραφη εσταυρωμενος
Gal 3:2 τουτο μονον θελω μαθειν αφ᾽ ὑμων εξ εργων νομου το πνευμα ελαβετε η εξ ακοης πιστεως
Gal 3:3 οὑτως ανοητοι εστε εναρξαμενοι πνευματι νυν σαρκι επιτελεισθε
Gal 3:4 τοσαυτα επαθετε εικη ει. γε και εικη
Gal 3:5 ὁ ουν επιχορηγων ὑμιν το πνευμα και ενεργων δυναμεις εν ὑμιν εξ εργων νομου η εξ ακοης πιστεως
Gal 3:6 καθως αβρααμ επιστευσεν τω θεω και ελογισθη αυτω εις δικαιοσυνην
Gal 3:7 γινωσκετε αρα ὁτι οἱ εκ πιστεως οὑτοι υἱοι εισιν αβρααμ
Gal 3:8 δε η γραφη εκ πιστεως δικαιοι τα εθνη θεος προευηγγελισατο τω αβρααμ ενευλογηθησονται εν σοι παντα τα εθνη
Gal 3:9 ὡστε οἱ εκ πιστεως ευλογουνται συν τω πιστω αβρααμ
Gal 3:10 ὁσοι γαρ εξ εργων νομου εισιν ὑπο καταραν εισιν γεγραπται γαρ ὁτι επικαταρατος πας ὁς ουκ εμμενει πασιν τοις γεγραμμενοις εν τω βιβλιω του νομου του ποιησαι αυτα
Gal 3:11 ὁτι δε εν νομω ουδεις δικαιουται παρα τω θεω δηλον ὁτι ὁ δικαιος εκ πιστεως ζησεται
Gal 3:12 ὁ δε νομος ουκ εστιν εκ πιστεως αλλ᾽ ὁ ποιησας αυτα ζησεται εν αυτοις
Gal 3:13 χριστος ἡμας εξηγορασεν εκ της καταρας του νομου γενομενος ὑπερ ἡμων καταρα ὁτι γεγραπται επικαταρατος πας ὁ κρεμαμενος επι ξυλου
Gal 3:14 ἱνα εις τα εθνη ἡ ευλογια του αβρααμ γενηται εν χριστω ιησου ἱνα την επαγγελιαν του πνευματος λαβωμεν δια της πιστεως
Gal 3:15 αδελφοι κατα ανθρωπον λεγω ὁμως ανθρωπου κεκυρωμενην διαθηκην ουδεις αθετει η επιδιατασσεται
Gal 3:16 τω δε αβρααμ ερρεθησαν αἱ επαγγελιαι και τω σπερματι αυτου ου λεγειν και τοις σπερμασιν ὡς επι πολλων αλλ᾽ ὡς εφ᾽ ἑνος και τω σπερματι σου ὁς εστιν χριστος
Gal 3:17 τουτο δε λεγω διαθηκην προκεκυρωμενην ὑπο του θεου ὁ μετα τετρακοσια και τριακοντα ετη γεγονως νομος ουκ ακυροι εις το καταργησαι την επαγγελιαν
Gal 3:18 ει. γαρ εκ νομου ἡ κληρονομια ουκετι εξ επαγγελιαν τω δε αβρααμ δι᾽ επαγγελιαν κεχαρισται ὁ θεος
Gal 3:19 τι ουν ὁ νομος των παραβασεων χαριν προσετεθη αχρις οὑ ελθη το σπερμα ὡ επηγγελται διαταγεις δι᾽ αγγελων εν χειρι μεσιτου
Gal 3:20 ὁ δε μεσιτης ἑνος ουκ εστιν ὁ δε θεος εἱς εστιν
Gal 3:21 ὁ ουν νομος κατα των επαγγελιων του θεου μη γενοιτο ει. γαρ εδοθη νομος ὁ δυναμενος ζωοποιησαι οντως εκ νομου αν ην ἡ δικαιοσυνη
Gal 3:22 αλλα συνεκλεισεν ἡ γραφη τα παντα ὑπο ἁμαρτιαν ἱνα ἡ επαγγελια εκ πιστεως ιησου χριστου δοθη τοις πιστευουσιν
Gal 3:23 προ του δε ελθειν την πιστιν ὑπο νομον εφρουρουμεθα συγκλειομενοι εις την μελλουσαν πιστιν αποκαλυφθηναι
Gal 3:24 ὡστε ὁ νομος παιδαγωγος ἡμων γεγονεν εις χριστον ἱνα εκ πιστεως δικαιωθωμεν
Gal 3:25 ελθουσης δε της πιστεως ουκετι ὑπο παιδαγωγον εσμεν
Gal 3:26 παντες γαρ υἱοι θεου εστε δια της πιστεως εν χριστω ιησου
Gal 3:27 ὁσοι γαρ εις χριστον εβαπτισθητε χριστον ενεδυσασθε
Gal 3:28 ουκ ενι ιουδαιος ουδε ἑλλην ουκ ενι δουλος ουδε ελευθερος ουκ ενι αρσεν και θηλυ παντες γαρ ὑμεις εἱς εστε εν χριστω ιησου
Gal 3:29 ει. δε ὑμεις χριστου αρα του αβρααμ σπερμα εστε και κατ᾽ επαγγελιαν κληρονομοι
