1Th 3:1 So when we couldn’t stand it any longer, we thought it best to be left alone in Athens
1Th 3:2 and send Timothy, our brother and co-worker for God, to strengthen you in the Gospel of the Anointed and console you in your faith.
1Th 3:3 In this way no one will be disturbed over these hardships, because as you know, this is our calling.
1Th 3:4 Even while we were with you we predicted that we were about to be oppressed, and so it happened, as you are well aware.
1Th 3:5 So I just had to send someone to find out about your faith, in case somehow the Intimidator had gotten to you and all our efforts had come to nothing.
1Th 3:6 Yet now Timothy has returned to us from you, and he brings us the good news of your faith and love, and that you have fond memories of us and long to see us as much as we long to see you.
1Th 3:7 So, brothers and sisters, because of this we are relieved about you through all our needs and hardships, by means of your faith.
1Th 3:8 We can breathe a sigh of relief now that we know you stand firm with the Master.
1Th 3:9 How can we possibly thank God or repay him for you, or for all the joy we have because of you?
1Th 3:10 Night and day we plead with God, begging to see your faces again and to correct any deficiencies in your faith.
1Th 3:11 Now may our God and Father and our Master Jesus guide us on a path to you!
1Th 3:12 May the Master keep increasing your love for each other till it overflows to everyone else too, just like our love to you.
1Th 3:13 May he firmly set your hearts in pure holiness before our God and Father, in the presence of our Master Jesus, with all his holy ones, absolutely!

1Th 3:1 διο μηκετι στεγοντες ευδοκησαμεν καταλειφθηναι εν αθηναις μονοι
1Th 3:2 και επεμψαμεν τιμοθεον τον αδελφον ἡμων και συνεργον του θεου εν τω ευαγγελιω του χριστου εις το στηριξαι ὑμας και παρακαλεσαι ὑπερ της πιστεως ὑμων
1Th 3:3 το μηδενα σαινεσθαι εν ταις θλιψεσιν ταυταις αυτοι γαρ οιδατε ὁτι εις τουτο κειμεθα
1Th 3:4 και γαρ ὁτε προς ὑμας ημεν προελεγομεν ὑμιν ὁτι μελλομεν θλιβεσθαι καθως και εγενετο και οιδατε
1Th 3:5 δια τουτο καγω μηκετι στεγων επεμψα εις το γνωναι την πιστιν ὑμων μη πως επειρασεν ὑμας ὁ πειραζων και εις κενον γενηται ὁ κοπος ἡμων
1Th 3:6 αρτι δε ελθοντος τιμοθεου προς ἡμας αφ᾽ ὑμων και ευαγγελισαμενου ἡμιν την πιστιν και την αγαπην ὑμων και ὁτι εχετε μνειαν ἡμων αγαθην παντοτε επιποθουντες ἡμας ιδειν καθαπερ και ἡμεις ὑμας
1Th 3:7 δια τουτο παρεκληθημεν αδελφοι εφ᾽ ὑμιν επι παση τη αναγκη και θλιψει ἡμων δια της ὑμων πιστεως
1Th 3:8 ὁτι νυν ζωμεν εαν ὑμεις στηκητε εν κυριω
1Th 3:9 τινα γαρ ευχαριστιαν δυναμεθα τω θεω ανταποδουναι περι ὑμων επι παση τη χαρα ἡ χαιρομεν δι᾽ ὑμας εμπροσθεν του θεου ἡμων
1Th 3:10 νυκτος και ἡμερας ὑπερεκπερισσου δεομενοι εις το ιδειν ὑμων το προσωπον και καταρτισαι τα ὑστερηματα της πιστεως ὑμων
1Th 3:11 αυτος δε ὁ θεος και πατηρ ἡμων και ὁ κυριος ἡμων ιησους κατευθυναι την ὁδον ἡμων προς ὑμας
1Th 3:12 ὑμας δε ὁ κυριος πλεονασαι και περισσευσαι τη αγαπη εις αλληλους και εις παντας καθαπερ και ἡμεις εις ὑμας
1Th 3:13 εις το στηριξαι ὑμων τας καρδιας αμεμπτους εν ἁγιωσυνη εμπροσθεν του θεου και πατρος ἡμων εν τη παρουσια του κυριου ἡμων ιησου μετα παντων των ἁγιων αυτου
